Before the Affordable Care Act, President Obama’s signature achievement in 2009, about 45,000 American’s per year died because they didn’t not have medical insurance. At most risk, in fact a 40 percent higher risk, were the folks that Donald Trump promised to represent most on the campaign trail: uninsured working-class Americans.

That promise has, apparently, fallen to the wayside. Trump is tired of not winning the healthcare fight after Republicans, who cried foul and have had nearly eight years to devise a plan that the people would prefer over the ACA, have been unable to come up with a plan anyone can support. In his frustration, Trump tweeted the following in the wee morning hours of Friday.

If Republican Senators are unable to pass what they are working on now, they should immediately REPEAL, and then REPLACE at a later date!

That’s right, Trump would like to take insurance away from the millions of Americans who rely on either plans through the ACA exchange or the expanded Medicaid programs that allow them to access doctors, receive life-saving medications, and keep their children healthy and alive. 45,000 Americans per year would die, but Trump would stop getting shown up by Congress.

For those keeping score, about 17 Americans per year die worldwide in terrorist attacks, but Trump says we need a Muslim ban to save lives and keep us safe. We need a border wall to protect us from undocumented immigrants who do not commit violent crimes anymore often than native-born American citizens do, because a border wall will save lives and keep us safe. 45,000 people dying without healthcare, though? No big deal, as long as Trump gets a win.

Twitter users were understandably stunned and outraged over the tweet.

If Republican Senators are unable to pass what they are working on now, they should immediately REPEAL, and then REPLACE at a later date!

@realDonaldTrump At that later date there will be fewer people to insure too. Cause they will be DEAD. GREAT JOB!

If Republican Senators are unable to pass what they are working on now, they should immediately REPEAL, and then REPLACE at a later date!

@realDonaldTrump So instead of the BEST healthcare or the GREATEST healthcare. You’re going for NO healthcare.

If Republican Senators are unable to pass what they are working on now, they should immediately REPEAL, and then REPLACE at a later date!

@realDonaldTrump So you want to take away what we have and leave us with nothing? Wow. You really do know nothing about healthcare.

If Republican Senators are unable to pass what they are working on now, they should immediately REPEAL, and then REPLACE at a later date!

@realDonaldTrump Y’all had 7 years to prepare a bill. But instead, Repubs spent 7 years obstructing & demonizing Obama & the ACA. Shame on all of you. pic.twitter.com/KkUoGhoZWw

If Republican Senators are unable to pass what they are working on now, they should immediately REPEAL, and then REPLACE at a later date!

@realDonaldTrump You sent 13 wealthy white men into a room in secret to draft healthcare legislation. Are you surprised their plan sucks? You shouldn’t be.

If Republican Senators are unable to pass what they are working on now, they should immediately REPEAL, and then REPLACE at a later date!

@realDonaldTrump I can’t wait to hear you tell 30 million Americans – MANY TRUMP SUPPORTERS – that they have no healthcare until “a later date.”
IMMORAL.

If Republican Senators are unable to pass what they are working on now, they should immediately REPEAL, and then REPLACE at a later date!

@realDonaldTrump I thought the health care system we have now was already so broken that replacement was mandatory.

If Republican Senators are unable to pass what they are working on now, they should immediately REPEAL, and then REPLACE at a later date!

If Republican Senators are unable to pass what they are working on now, they should immediately REPEAL, and then REPLACE at a later date!

@realDonaldTrump So you would rather leave everyone with nothing?

You are not fit for this position.

If Republican Senators are unable to pass what they are working on now, they should immediately REPEAL, and then REPLACE at a later date!

@realDonaldTrump Mr. President: Do you have awareness of anything other than a desire for sadistic vengeance for perceived slights to your fragile ego???
