Kellyanne Conway is one of President Trump’s fiercest supporters. In Conway’s eyes, the president can absolutely do no wrong, and she will stop at nothing to convince the world that Trump is a victim, and is the best president for the American people. You can watch interview after interview of Conway defending Trump’s honor against those who have done him wrong.
A Thursday interview with Fox & Friends was no different than many before. Conway had a few choice words on Hillary Clinton and James Clapper after both have scorned the president, at least in his eyes. After Kellyanne talked up the president and complained about the media being unfair to Trump, she changed topics, to talk about Trump’s current enemies.
James Clapper, a former national intelligence director, recently shared his opinion after the president conducted a rally in Pheonix, which questioned the president’s ability to run the country. Of course, President Trump had his own words to share on these comments, via Twitter, but that did not stop Conway from expressing her own thoughts during the interview, stating:
It’s such an absurd analysis playing armchair psychiatrist, and it’s not just him, it’s a lot of people on TV.’
Unprompted by Fox & Friends, amid the questions on James Capper, Conway launched into a rant about Clinton all on her own
Excerpts from 2016 Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton’s new book, What Happened, were released earlier in the week, in which she talks specifically about the Trump’s sad attempts at intimidation while she tried to say her piece during the election, saying that it made her “skin crawl.”
‘What would you do? Do you stay calm, keep smiling and carry on as if he weren’t repeatedly invading your space? Or do you turn, look him in the eye and say loudly and clearly ‘Back up, you creep. Get away from me. I know you love to intimidate women, but you can’t intimidate me, so back up.’
Obviously enough, this was not pleasing for the president or those in support of him to read, and Conway made sure everyone was well aware of that fact. Conway told Fox & Friends:
‘She failed to make history and she succeeds at making excuses and that is emblematic of a Democratic Party now that is so bereft of ideas and issues that they have to then play armchair psychiatrists.’
Conway kept her focus on Clinton, continuing on to say:
‘We’ve got Hillary Clinton, who Democrats are whispering all over this town, they wish that this book didn’t happen, that she would just either make herself useful or fade out of the limelight. Where is her bipartisan effort to try to help with infrastructure, meaningful tax reform or the opioid crisis that I work on in the building behind me every single day? We haven’t heard from her.’
