On Friday Donald Trump put a ban on refugees and muslims from entering the country. Today border agents are going as far as to checking people’s Facebook accounts to assure their religion and political views.

Mana Yegani of the American Immigration Lawyers Association told The Intercept that some of those she has consulted – despite having valid visas – have been interrogated by border agents about their political beliefs before being allowed into the country.

“These are people that are coming in legally. They have jobs here and they have vehicles here,” she said. “Just because Trump signed something at 6pm yesterday, things are coming to a crashing halt. It’s scary.”

It is a violation of the First Amendment and should not be allowed, but this seems to be the pattern of Trump’s America. People are being racially profiled and are having their rights taken away from them.

Head of the Iranian-American Council, Trita Parsi, also reported that green card holders are being subjected to political interrogations.

This is starting to look a lot like George Orwell’s 1984. Which is basically about a world that is controlled by a political regime.
